i worked with kyle the last two hours of my shift yesterday afternoon, and we talked about the coffee zombies that come to homer's. regular zombies are typically in movies, in an entranced state, and are usually undead. COFFEE zombies, however, exist in real life. i've seen them. they have the same slow heavy gestures as movie zombies-- but they require coffee so they can resemble something that passes for a human. that's why i'm here. i feed coffee zombies so you don't have to.
the subs are playing tonight at 7:30. 'surf, swing, and spy' music is the best way to describe the sound with songs like: pipeline, all of me, and charade. in a blatant attempt to fill homer's to capacity, you will get 2 punches on your drink card (after 6:30pm) when you order a drink and tell a barista, "i came to hear the subs!"
